Latest downgrade? Time Warner’s Road Runner broadband service is dropping Usenet. Newsgroups go poof on June 23rd, supposedly “due to low subscriber usage.”
So if that is the only reason for the change in service — not cost to Time Warner — we can expect a reduction in the price of our monthly bill, right? Hello?
Once again TW underwhelms me. I’d ask our city-paid cable administrator to get TW to produce some sort of evidence of a lack of demand, but I honestly do not know if we still have a cable administrator. Heaven knows my emails to the office never produce a response.
