Yesterday afternoon CATS CEO Ron Tober sent out an email complaining that the Observer’s analysis of CATS’ bus finances failed to included revenue CATS receives from “partners” like UNCC, Wachovia, Center City Partners, and surrounding jurisdictions. This, Tober complained, makes it look like CATS is receiving less operating revenue than is really the case.
Uh, OK. CATS is actually receiving more government support than previously thought. Along with some private support.
