The following are the top 20 high schools in North Carolina:

Penn-Griffin School For The Arts (Guilford County Schools)

Durham School Of The Arts (Durham County Schools)

Carrboro High School (Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools)

Marvin Ridge High School (Union County Schools)

Green Hope High School (Wake County Schools)

School of Inquiry and Life Sciences (Asheville City Schools)

Providence High School (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools)

Ardrey Kell High School (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools)

Interestingly, six of the top 20 high schools in the state are charter schools.  Raleigh Charter High School is the #1 ranked school in NC and the #37 ranked school in the nation.
