The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove. The latest figures include 33% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 43% who Strongly Disapprove.
If the president hopes to improve on that number, Mr. Trump will need to explain why his policy choices are improving people’s lives. Some of his policies don’t do that — misguided tariffs come to mind immediately. But others do — tax and regulatory reform, for example. Now the president is stepping out to infuse the health care sector will more choices and more competition. Let’s hope he’s successful.
