Folks in Jackson County are now worried about whether or not the mineral rights for their property had been sold. For awhile, it was trendy because nobody thought anything of value would be found. New fracking legislation might change that. I think I’m hearing a call for more government regulation, as those pesky humans have once again attempted to undertake trade on the basis of their imperfect value systems. Surely government foresaw this and would have prevented it. After all, it does operate behind a dais.
