Meet Nick Vutetakis. Records indicate that he was arrested early Monday morning by CMPD for failing to comply with his driver’s license restrictions. If you are driving around at 2:40am, CMPD will pull you. Period. So bad luck there.
But Vutetakis was then booked in the Mecklenburg County jail under $1200 secured bond. Vutetakis does not have prior convictions according to the state corrections web site and was not arrested in recent years in Mecklenburg according to the jail website.
Recall that accused rapist Martin Diamond was turned loose under no bond by county magistrate Sylvia Cherry.
