During my weekend trip to Charlotte I — get this — took a ride on the South Blvd. light rail line. Tell the truth, it was what it was — a mode of transportation, nothing more, nothing less. You wait for the train ( in my case, out in the cold rain —- the roof over the rail stop makes a hell of a wind tunnel, by the way) you get on the train, you get where you’re going, you hang for a while, then you get on the train again and go back. No big deal.
That said, Meck Deck has the details of an Uptown party train that didn’t make it all the way back. Watch the video, it’s pretty funny.
