Everybody is supposed to be going green, but Saluda prefers brown and gray. Leadership is getting tough on property owners who let green stuff obstruct viewsheds allegedly necessary for carbon-footprinting motor vehicles. They may even kill a rain forest to send out notifications to offending parties. If the parties don’t slaughter the vegetation themselves, the town will do it and bill them, possibly killing another rain forest.
