Winston-Salem Journal front-pager on the Triad’s Solar Consortium, compromised of “a team of scientific experts from N.C. A&T State University, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem State University and UNC Greensboro are working on a project to significantly reduce the cost of generating electricity from sunlight, while also conserving as much heat energy as possible in the process.”

Note that the project requires “highly specialized experts and highly specialized equipment” (i.e. very expensive) yet will also “create jobs and benefit the economy.” Wonder how that’s going to work.
