As we come down to final House discussions over the chamber’s proposed General Fund budget plan, the Triangle Business Journal asked Mitch Kokai to assess the House tax package and what comes next.
“We would like the final compromise negotiators to work on something that is broad-based and effects as many taxpayers as possible, which would likely be either a rate decrease, or if you’re going to increase some sort of deduction, that it is more broad based,” he said.
