Just outside the metropolis of the capital city in North Carolina lies the small community of Apex.  North Salem Street serves as the main street for historic downtown Apex, N.C. The revitalization of the historic downtown area is one of the many factors that has made Apex one of the top places to live. Money Magazine announced on Monday that they had chosen Apex as the top place to live in America in 2015, with a population under 50,000.

This year Apex, NC was named by Money Magazine as the number one place to live in the United States.

Money magazine has ranked several Triangle towns on their annual “Best Places to Live” list in recent years. The magazine alternates between ranking small towns and big cities.
