The Triangle has traditionally been one of the most stable and prosperous areas of North Carolina. Today, however, the state announced that the Triangle unemployment rate has ticked up to 8.8 percent. You would think state legislators would take this news very, very seriously and immediately dump the idea of raising taxes on high earners.
