Trick-or-treating last night was not ruined by one of our neighbors, despite his best efforts. In addition to giving our children candy (treats), he also gave us a brochure from Friends of Wake County (tricks). He gave us the standard argument ? they?re going to build the schools, this is just the cheapest way to do it.
If the bond fails, will he make a $100 donation to WCPSS?
If the bond passes, will he complain about a $100 increase in his rent to help his landlord pay the higher property taxes on his rented house?
And if his landlord votes against the bond, will he be willing to pay another $100 to help her pay the higher property taxes on her own home, too?
