OK, I know I’m an interested party here since she’s my daughter, but I thought I’d let anyone who’s interested know that she’s going to be the headline speaker at the Durham Republican Party dinner on Friday night. Here are the details:

Mary Katharine Ham, who grew up in Trinity Park in Durham and is a 1998 graduate of Riverside High School, will be the keynote speaker at Durham Republican Party Dinner on Friday, Aug. 19, 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Imperial at 4700 Emperor Blvd., Durham, 27703.

She is currently a co-host on The Morning Majority radio show aired daily on Washington DC 630 WMAL. In addition, she is a special contributor and video producer of DailyCaller.com and is also a regular featured contributor to Fox News Channel, where she appears regularly on the O’Reilly Factor and other programs. In the past she has served as a writer for The Weekly Standard and the Washington Examiner, as Managing Editor of Townhall.com , and as editor of The Heritage Foundation’s Insider magazine. She is a 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia, with a journalism degree from the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

A cocktail reception will begin at 6 pm with dinner being served at 7:00 pm. Bill LuMaye from 680 WPTF will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

General Admission tickets are $55 per person or $100 per couple.
