I’m just going to quote the opening paragraphs. It says it all:
Free chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-A, free ice cream and free bus fares are only a few of the incentives to be offered for riding a Capital Area Transit (CAT) bus during ?Try Transit Week.? CAT is encouraging citizens to leave their cars at home and try public transportation during the week of Sept. 17-22.
The week will kick off on Monday, Sept. 17, with a CAT information fair. The fair will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Moore Square Transit Station and again from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex, 222 W. Hargett St. At either of the information fairs, patrons can register to win a free lunch in downtown Raleigh, gather information on the CAT bus system and learn about other events happening during ?Try Transit Week.?
