The Town of Boone is struggling with a parking lot where people are parking illegally and getting booted. There is suspicion that the signs have not yet been just right. Jan Winkler, who owns the lot and the building whose tenants would like to use it, had this to say:
“We have spent a fortune on signs. Taking them up, taking them down. Your responsibility as leaders is to tell us what you want us to do and stick with it. We change all the time.”
