N&R front-pager on Sen. Trudy Wade “taking the legislative reins,” complete with photo working alongside Majority Leader Phil Berger. Positive tone to the story, but I can’t imagine the editorial board reacting positively to legislation that includes regulatory reform and “a slate of environmental rule changes.”
As for making it illegal to relinquish a party line for an emergency telephone call, I couldn’t tell if the Rhino’s John Hammer was being serious when he wrote that Moral Monday protesters should pay attention to this issue because tying up a party line while his neighbor is dying is just plain wrong.
But we told us to ask your grandpa about party lines, I knew he was joking. Not sure if the Moral Monday protesters would get it.
