The always entertaining and enlightening Mike Munger will be sitting in for Bill LuMaye tomorrow from 3 to 6 p.m. on News/Talk 680 WPTF. I’ll be joining Mike for the show, and my husband Rick may join the conversation as well.

Mike, of course, was the Libertarian candidate for N.C. governor. He garnered nearly 3 percent of the vote. He’s also the chairman of the Duke political science department and holds a Ph.D. in economics.

Mike’s going to give WPTF listeners his perspective on the federal bailout programs and answer my question about whether or not we actually have a private sector economy anymore.

We also plan to talk about a free market for education, privacy issues, and what we’re thankful for this year.

So, as you’re fixing your turkey tomorrow afternoon, tune us in at 680 AM, or online at www.wptf.com. Just click on “Listen Live.”

By the way, if you’d like to hear Mike discuss his campaign and how tough it is for a third party to get on the N.C. ballot, you’ll find his recent speech to a Locke Foundation audience here.

Happy Thanksgiving.
