From October 2015. So says a Brazilian news source. This will mark the latest date for which US Airways will acquire permanent authority to fly to Brazil’s two top markets, Sao Paolo and Rio De Janeiro.
US Airways currently has rights for daily CLT-Rio De Janeiro flights and has a deal to lease slots United for daily CLT- Sao Paolo flights through early 2015 subject to Brazilian government approval, which hasn’t come yet.
