Unanimous N.C. Appeals Court panel rules against I-77 toll lane critics

A unanimous three-judge panel of the N.C. Court of Appeals has affirmed a lower-court ruling against WidenI77, a group opposing the N.C. Department of Transportation’s planned toll lanes on a section of I-77 north of Charlotte.

A trial judge had dismissed the toll lane critics’ arguments that the law allowing the toll lane project was unconstitutional.
