Remember how that cap on out-of-state students hurts UNC-Chapel Hill so much?

It seems UNC-CH administrators can’t keep their stories straight. When UNC-CH’s criticized on another front, they’re eager to tell how much greater they’re situated now than ever. This letter from Matthew Kupec, UNC-CH vice chancellor for university advancement, for example, boasts:

? “Entering freshmen classes break their own records year after year for academic preparedness”

? “We have made tremendous strides academically”

? “UNC remains universally acknowledged as among the top four or five best public institutions in America”

? UNC-CH is “a university on the move, at the top of its game”

? UNC-CH “is better positioned for the future than at any previous time in its history”
