UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Law will host a forum on Feb. 24 to discuss religion and the Constitution. According to the press release,
the three key subject areas the forum will look at is tteaching of
intelligent design in public schools, the use of the words “under God”
and prayer in schools, as well as the “reintroduction of religious
symbols in the classroom in light of a reconstituted Supreme Court.”

I still remember walking around Shady Spring Elementary back in
my schooling days and seeing the Ten Commandments on the wall and
praying before lunch. No one complained, at least none that I remember.
So why make it an issue now? That’s right. We live in a nation that
gets offended to easily.
