Some mornings my LOL (laughing out loud) does not come from the comic section of the N&O; it comes from the “Under the Dome” section. Today was one of those days. “Dome” reports that St. Petersburg Times business reporter Robert Trigaux has some advice for the new Florida governor: Be Like Bev. What? Trigaux wants his new governor to be like Bev Perdue (LOL), under federal investigation?
I can understand that he has not read the October and November issues of Carolina Journal, but he obviously has never read any of North Carolina’s state newspapers, including the N&O.
Trigaux goes on to laud Perdue for her continuing the “mantra of aggressively selling her state to the business world.” Maybe that should have read, “continuing the mantra of not paying for campaign-related flights from the business world.”
Hopefully, Governor-elect Rick Scott will not, “Be like Bev.” Still LOL!
