Carolina Journal‘s ongoing investigation of scandals associated with North Carolina public schools’ free and reduced-price lunch programs attracted new attention in the past week. A Wake County school board member cited CJ‘s work (led by associate editor David Bass) during a recent meeting, as noted in the News & Observer.
