Readers of National Review learned about the intricacies of North Carolina’s U.S. Senate race this week through an analysis piece written by John Locke Foundation Chairman John Hood. A profile of Republican Senate candidate Thom Tillis in both the Charlotte Observer and News & Observer quoted Hood. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted in their daily press emails this week Hood’s columns on cherry picking of economic data and the reliability of N.C. election polls.

The high-profile U.S. Senate race also served as the main topic of discussion during Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray‘s latest appearance on Time Warner Cable News’ statewide “Capital Tonight” program. Gray will discuss election issues this afternoon with Bill LuMaye on Talk Radio WPTF. She will also discuss political issues, including women’s roles in policy and politics, during a conversation this weekend with Don Curtis on Curtis Media Group’s syndicated “Carolina Newsmakers” radio program. Gray continues twice-weekly politics and public policy updates for WTSB Radio listeners. She will be the featured speaker Saturday at the FreedomWorks annual super activist workshop.
