According to a recent audit of Wake County’s curriculum, only one of 363 teachers is doing a poor job.  That one teacher must be doing a pretty bad job. It’s unlikely that all of the county’s teachers are doing a great job, though if you looked at their pay, you’d think that every teacher is providing the same amount of added educational value to Wake students. In an interview with the News&Observer, Lindalyn Kakadelis said the high-quality rating is “insane.”  She points directly to the methodology for evaluation as the culprit for the bounty of fantastic teachers in the county.
