JLF’s newest policy analyst, Joe Coletti, made his debut media appearance this week on WUNC-FM’s “The State of Things.” Coletti joined a panel of experts discussing proposed changes to the state’s Medicaid program, whose costs continue to surge, leading to some of the highest costs in the South. He offered recommendations outlined in his recent JLF Spotlight report, Get Control of Medicaid. Following the interview, Coletti blogged in The Locker Room that he concluded “it’s a good thing when someone from the North Carolina Committee to Defend Health Care, which advocates a right to health care, calls your analysis “immoral” on public radio.” WUNC is heard from the Triangle to the coast.
