Roy Cordato, proving his moxie yet again, takes on
the fear-mongering alarmists touting anthropogenic climate change in
his latest Spotlight
paper, Lopsided
Commission: North Carolina’s Global Warming Commission Lacks
Expertise. The paper, which highlights the
commission’s deficiencies in climatology and economics – two key
aspects to the legislative mandate placed upon the council, focuses on
the left-leaning eco-cronies that are stacked throughout the
commission. The Spotlight’s message of the ineptitude of
state-based initiatives to stop global warming was picked up by the
Chowan Herald courtesy of a Cordato op-ed.
Cordato also presented his information on the Climate Commission to
students at NC State’s Environmental Law and Economic Policy
class. JLF intern Christopher
Goff went even further in an op-ed published in the
Raleigh News & Observer. The op-ed
highlighted the light rail boondoggle by targeting the growing cost of
the project (now estimated at $800 million) and its inability to save
time or reduce congestion or appreciably affect air-pollution levels.
