Very few are staunch believers in the paranormal, regardless of religious background. But, those who attend church regularly are less likely to believe in things such as astrology, fortune-tellers, and communicating with the dead. This data was noted recently by Paul Chesser in his CJ Exclusive about the National Study on Youth and Religion, a four-year study being conducted at UNC-Chapel Hill. Chesser’s story was so interesting that the Evangelical Press Association distributed it to its subscribing members. The EPA acts as the Associated Press for Christian newspapers.
