That would be Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and San Jose del Cabo (SJD). The airline filed today with the DOT to obtain route authority to serve the two Mexican resorts from Charlotte. Initially, they are proposing to fly to Puerto Vallarta four times a week and San Jose del Cabo five times a week on 124-seat Airbus A319 aircraft beginning about June 1. The airline already serves both resorts from its Phoenix hub. The government granting the authority is a forgone conclusion.
Bonus observation: The timing of this application strongly suggests that this could be part of Plan B after the DOT imposed conditions on the U.S. Airways/Delta slot swap.
