According to a recent Bloomberg report, North Carolina is one of only 6 states that have vaccinated less than 1% of of the population.

And it’s not because North Carolina hasn’t received enough of the vaccine. Nationally, only about 30% of the doses that have been distributed to the states have been administered, which is bad. But North Carolina less than 26% of the doses have been distributed, which is worse. With the holidays over things should pick up, but we shouldn’t take anything for granted. We need to put pressure on the Governor and the Secretary of Health and Human Services to do better–much better.
