Seems the subsidies for ethanol production that have made corn more expensive have also raised the price of meat, since corn is an important feed grain for cows, pigs, and chickens. Soda companies are also looking for alternatives to the dreaded high-fructose corn syrup because of rising prices.
So maybe it’s all just a big plot to make us vegetarians and not about global warming at all.
The really wealthy will of course be able to eat their wagyu and purchase tofu offsets.
