This week’s 25th anniversary of MTV reminded me of the time VJ babe Martha Quinn read my trivia question on the air.

She even pronounced my name correctly. That seemed pretty cool when I was in the ninth grade.

For the curious among you (since the question is still valid 20 years later): Bruce Springsteen has never recorded a No. 1 single, but he has written one. What was the song? Who recorded it?
