We should be pleased North Carolina’s statewide teacher attrition rate is dropping. That’s just one of the conclusions reached by John Locke Foundation education expert Dr. Terry Stoops. In this interview with Donna Martinez of Carolina Journal Radio, Stoops explains how a dropping rate mitigates turnover costs, and he suggests the investments in teachers made by the Republican-led General Assembly are beginning to pay off.
