The
City of Raleigh will soon open its Downtown Amphitheatre. To help
defray costs, the City is looking for naming rights opportunities–one
such opportunity may be from a beer company (Budweiser).
This may run afoul of state laws that make it illegal to name a public venue after an alcoholic beverage. (Apparently the City is working with the ABC Board to try to work it out.)
