Critics have attempted to set up plenty of obstacles to photo identification for voters in North Carolina.

Hans von Spakovsky of the Heritage Foundation spent nearly an hour today explaining why none of those obstacles is valid. He defended voter ID during a presentation for the John Locke Foundation and the Federalist Society.
