Tonight, there will be another live blog here. I will try to watch my spelling and grammar a little better this time. The polls closed a few minutes ago. Things are still quiet.

On Matt Mittan’s WWNC 570AM talk show today, people were calling in to complain about fishy things at the precincts in WNC. I only caught bits of the show as I was getting in and out of the car. One lady complained she was told she was ineligible to vote. She yelled and cussed because she had voted at the same place the last seven years. She begged a couple poll workers to check again, and they found she could vote. She thought it might have something to do with her being a Republican.

Another man wondered what it meant when I guy filled in too many blanks and made the tabulating machine sound off with bells and whistles. The man was told his ballot was normalized. Nobody knew what that meant.

Many complained about the Democrat sample ballots. Those have been around a long time. The only legitimate complaint was that one was on display inside the precinct.

Meanwhile, John North, editor of a couple Asheville papers said Buncombe County Chair Chad Nesbitt has word of bad things going down at the Enka precinct.
