The News & Observer has published this story about the race for the District 2 seat on the Wake County board of commissioners. Democratic incumbent Lindy Brown is being challenged by Republican Phil Matthews. This race is one of four commission seats that will be decided Nov. 2. Currently, Democrats have a 4-3 majority on the board.
