The rumor is that Wake County Public School System administrators already planned to implement a grading policy that was consistent with consultant Ken O’Connor’s principles. (O’Connor recommends that school systems not give zeros and not reduce grades for cheating or late work.) From what I understand, one proposal is to make 50 or 60 percent the lowest grade possible.
