Wake County school administrators say they’re not yet ready to recommend which construction projects need to be delayed due to the troubled economy.
The answer is pretty straightforward, actually. Wake County should delay those projects that do not add a substantial number of seats, particularly “inside the beltline” renovation projects. Dealing with growth, not playing politics, should be the school system’s only priority.
