peer review protest

My newsletter takes its cue from Cicero (via John Hood) and reiterates something I’ve said before: doing something to help the poor should, at the very least, actually help the poor.

I expand on that concept in four radical ways.

  1. Policies put forth to help the poor should actually work to help the poor.
  2. If those policies fail, they should be repealed.
  3. Practices and systems that help the poor should be encouraged.
  4. Practices and systems that help the poor must certainly not be thwarted or discouraged.

For descriptions and background, read my newsletter.
