Maybe it’s just me, but Rep. Etheridge being available only half of the promised time to meet with constituents because of renegade cows seems like a pretty flimsy reason.
I mean, surely he has hired hands whose jobs are to round up cows when they wander away. I doubt the congressman chased them down.
I know things happen and come up — after all, our representatives are only human — but given that Etheridge doesn’t exactly have a great history of being accessible to constituents, this comes across more as a weak excuse to not interact with voters, even if it actually is legitimate this time.
