Just days before the vote in the U.S. Senate on the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending bill, Sen. Thom Tillis took to the Senate floor to explain what was about to happen and what senators were going to vote on. Here’s why he — and every Republican U.S. senator — voted against this pork-filled bill.
If you believe in limited government, then you will be thankful, like I am, that Sen. Tillis voted no. This should have been a much more targeted, much smaller relief package. As is, it’s mostly pork. What a shame.
