You’re sick of hearing about Asheville’s water system, so here’s some more. Anti-Asheville legislation was just passed to essentially repeal the amendment to the Sullivan acts that allowed the city to use water system revenue to patch up infrastructure torn up for waterworks projects. That should burn the city, since they ambitiously pursued a number of projects to take advantage of the short-lived amendment.

On the subject of water, the freemarketeer community is of the opinion the commodity is priced obscenely low. That said, he who controls the water, controls the people.
