Nothing gets your synergy going like a peeling sign. In a nicely-reported article for the Asheville Citizen-Times, John Boyle related that the letters are beginning to come off a half dozen of the 329 wayfinding signs installed at a cost of $1.65 million. The signs were funded with proceeds from local hotel room taxes, $165,000 from the City of Asheville, $25,000 from Buncombe County, and contributions from other towns and the Asheville Regional Airport. I may be mistaken, but I thought I saw the filial on one of them knocked silly today, to boot.
