I recently asked Jan Davis, a local Asheville City Councilman who also runs a tire store, if he would be interested in doing an interview for a local paper since the board is taking a summer holiday. I asked him to send me a list of issues, a discussion of which might prove impactful, and he emailed the following response:
I will try to get it done. We are slammed at the shop, it may be after the holiday.
Hooray for you, Mr. Jan. Thank you for understanding that economies grow by adding value to existing resources and not by sitting around a table trying to figure out how to fit loyal subjects into a master plan from a pipe dream. May you enjoy lots of tax-subsidized fireworks today! 😉
