The Haywood County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council is seeking proposals for services for “court-involved” youth.* It isn’t that the HCJCPC lacks direction, mission, focus, or ideas. The poor, impoverished state is expected to contribute $143,039 in loose change to burn a hole in its pocket. So, if you can prove that your tax-exempt agency can prove it is not delinquent in paying its taxes (?), you can submit a proposal for some touchy-feely ball of let’s not and say we did. Remember, it’s all about controlling other people.

*Note: The article referenced was printed on Thursday, the new PC term for “court-involved” is “knucklehead.”
