The Asheville Citizen-Times’ Joel Burgess has such a way with words. He was writing about the proposed extension of hours of operation for pushcart vendors in Asheville. One can imagine the meeting wherein the curfew was first imposed: clueless leaders “sitting around the table” trying to look important by throwing out arbitrary numbers with feigned conviction . . .
