Absolutely hysterical that the Uptown paper of record immediately jumps on Pat McCrory’s claims about the social costs of illegal immigration after years of giving him a pass on the numbers regarding Uptown development, light rail, land use, taxes — you name it.
I wager it’ll only take a couple more weeks before McCrory comes to understand why so many of us reflect almost daily on H.L. Mencken’s observation, “Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit upon his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.”
