Among the things that Wells Fargo does is offer a wide variety of corporate trust services. These include:
• Equity trustee. We serve as owner trustee for a variety of equipment and real estate financing. You can use owner trust structures and voting trusts to secure U.S. registration of aircraft for non-U.S. citizen corporations and individuals.
• Debt trustee. We regularly represent debt participants in lease financings, and offer security trustee, deposit agent, collateral agent, paying or fiscal agent, lockbox agent, and administrative agent services.
• Paying agent. We offer leasing and finance companies customized payment processing whether or not indenture trustee services are required. This customized service simplifies lessors’ operations, reassures lenders, and provides single payment addresses to lessees.
As you might have guessed, Wells Fargo is a big player in the aircraft trust business. And so it should come as little surprise that Well Fargo’s name shows up as an owner of unmarked 767s flying out of Washington-Dulles airport for the government (Pentagon?).
